BTT Canada fighters Bosse and Carpine in action at Ringside promotions' MMA event

Following the cancellation of not one but two MMA events in the province (XMMA and Bellator), fight fans and fighters were grateful to see Ringside come in and throw a last minute event. As the main event, BTT Canada fighter Steve "The Boss" Bosse was taking on veteran fighter Yan Pellerin. Right away, the difference in size was obvious between the 2, with Pellerin weighing in at 241 lbs while Bosse gave up a few pounds to Pellerin at 217.9 lbs. Despite the size difference, Bosse was obviously the fitter of the two fighters. The fight began with both fighters circling the cage, looking for their opportunity. After feeding Pellerin a few jabs, Bosse was rushed towards the cage where he managed to reverse Pellerin and take him down where he quickly began to feed punched to the downed Pellerin until the referee stopped the fight about 45 seconds into the first round. It was later known that Pellerin suffered an ankle injury during the proceedings. Regardless, it was an easy win for the talented Bosse.

Also on the card, BTT Canada's Eugenio Carpine was taking on Mitch Gagnon from Team Schretter. Unfortunately for Carpine, Gagnon was able to nullify his striking, close the distance and take the fight to the ground where he quickly secured a dominant position and submitted Carpine with a rear-naked choke early in the 1st round.
