XMMA 6: BTT Canada fighter Francois Hache Lacombe shines in first MMA fight. Samuel Guillet disapointed in championship bout.

Nov. 8, 2008- Competing in his first MMA fight, BTT Canada's Francois Hache Lacombe imposed his will on his opponent Nicolas Pariseau. Quickly establishing himself as the superior striker, Francois turned back a few unthreatening combinations before dropping his opponent with a solid right hand. Pariseau got up to his feet only to be dropped again with another right hand. This time, Francois followed him to the ground, delivering a series of hammer fists before grabbing a leg and sinking in a fight ending knee bar. Needless to say, Frank "The Prank" has a very promising MMA career ahead of him.

BTT Canada's Samuel Guillet was facing Kajan Johnson for the XMMA lightweight title. Fighting in his first championship bout and main event, Sam showed a little bit of nerves in this one, succumbing to a fight ending arm bar at 0:52 seconds of the first round. Slipping after a wild over hand right, Sam tried to grab his opponent's leg but soon found Johnson taking his back. The 2 rolled around before Johnson grabbed an arm and Sam was unable to get out of it, quickly tapping to end the fight. Under normal circumstances, this fight should have gone very differently. Without taking anything away from Johnson's skills, Sam did not perform at his best, showing both nerves and rust. Johnson was the much fresher fighter and deservedly took the lightweight championship. Sam will obviously bounce back and a rematch between these two is imminent.
