Patrick Cote defeats Ricardo Almeida at UFC 86!!!

In what can only be described as the most important fight of his career, Patrick Cote survived three grueling rounds and eked out a split decision against Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sensation Ricardo Almeida. What may have seemed a boring fight to some, it was everything but boring to those of who knew what was at stake and just how hard of a challenge this was for BTT Canada's Patrick "The Predator" Cote. Any overcommitment to striking on Patrick's part could have easily led to a takedown and subsequent submission.

Having spent months training both his wrestling and BJJ like never before, Patrick had to use all of his training and then some to come out the victor. Mostly known as a powerful striker, Patrick finally proved that he can hold his own in all aspects of MMA. His next opponent should be the victor of Anderson Silva and Yushin Okami for none other than the UFC Middleweight Belt!!!
