TKO 32: ULTIMATUM

Two of our own, BTT Canada fighters Samuel Guillet and Tim Wadsworth were victorious at TKO 32, held Feb. 28th at the Bell Center in Montreal, QC.

Samuel was fighting an up and coming Alberta MMA fighter Jordan Mein. After a little bit of a rough start in the first round, Sam had had enough of the stand up game and secured a Kimura late in the second round to walk away with the victory. Sam's enjoying some well deserved time off right now, we'll be posting his comments about the fight just as soon as he gets back.

Tim Wadsworth was competing in only his second MMA fight and quickly brought his record to 2-0. The former Canadian Wrestling Champion describes how the fight went:

"Threw a couple jabs to set up the take down. I took him down into side mount where he was trying to hold onto a guillotine but was in the wrong position so he had to let go. He put me back in half guard where I started punishing him with elbows and punches. I went into side mount again, got that Matt Hughes position on him where I had both arms trapped and my right free to punch him. Went back to side, more punches then to full mount. From there I started landing a lot of heavy shots and couldn’t believe as I watched my opponents face swell up that he would not tap and the ref would not stop it. Eventually he put out his arm almost asking me to take an armbar but I knew he was finished for sure with a few more punches so I kept hammering away and the ref stopped it."

Congratulations to both Sam and Tim on their hard earned victories and continued success.
